Abstract
The country of Indonesia in a shape of islands has a lot of diversity inside. This research describes the representation of Indonesia in the movie I Leave My Heart in Lebanon which contains many Pancasila values as the ideology, personality and identity of Indonesia nation and state. The purpose of this research for society includes general society, university, faculty especially the faculty of letters and philosophy is to develop awareness about the various cultures and Pancasila as the National Identity of Indonesia Nation and state and to be applied in the daily life. This research uses qualitative descriptive method in order to get the purposes of the study. The data are derived from the movie I Leave My Heart in Lebanon. Some other data are derived from some books to support. The conclusions can be extracted from this research include some points. The first is Indonesia as the big nation in diversity interacts and communicates with each other in equality as the creature of God. The second, Pancasila as the ideology of Indonesia nation and state derived from the thoughts and view of life of the Indonesia people teaches Indonesia nation to live in peace and harmony by respecting the human rights between religions, ethnics, and cultures, then Pancasila becomes the personality and national identity of Indonesia nation and state.
