Abstract
The problem at SDN MARON WETAN II is that class V students have not yet reached the KKTP in the sciense Anda science subject on food chains. Tehere are several factors that cause students not to achieve, including the method and model used by teachers, namely the CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) method assisted by powerpoint media which is less attractive. The CTL learning process assisted by Power Point media shows a tendency for the learning process to be teacher centered. This affects the weak participation of students during learning. Student participation is very crucial in learning activities it can lead to low student learning outcomes. From the results of obervations with a number of class V students, the students felt that the material taught by the teacher was very fast, making them unable to follow the learning process well. This research aims to determine the use of the TAI learning method assisted by Canva to improve science learning outcomes in class V students at SDN MARON WETAN II, Maron District, Probolinggo Regency. The research method used is Classroom Action Research which is carried out in 2 cycles. The research subjects were 23 class V students at SDN MARON WETAN II. After the data is collected, it is then analyzed using a percentage formula to determine the improvement that has occurred. The results of the research showed that there was an increase in learning outcomes and student activity studying science after implementing the TAI method assisted by Canva. This increase can be seen from the number of students who are active in the process of learning and teaching activities in class so that the average value of student learning outcomes in cycle I: 65.23, Cycle II: 88.76 (completed learning) with the KKTP provisions set by the school is 75.
